By Grace Alone, Through Faith Alone, on Christ Alone

Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

While we’re in the New Testament Church Age before the coming Rapture and The Great Tribulation, Salvation today is attained by faith alone on Christ alone, because all of our good works and righteousness are tainted by sin as said in Isaiah 64:6, also in Romans 3:10 where God says no one is righteous.

Isaiah 64:6 King James Version

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Romans 3:10 King James Version

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

We are not good enough to attain Salvation on our own, and God’s standards are too high because He is Holy, perfect and sinless. If a person said that he/she can go to Heaven because of what he/she has done then that person is asking to compare his/her righteousness with the perfect righteousness of God, they will fail and fall to Hell because he/she is not perfect, Holy and sinless like God, and their works will be rejected on Judgement Day.

Matthew 7:22-24 King James Version

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Works can’t save you, church membership cannot save you, being a Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist can’t save you, even Islam proclaimed in their Quran that all Moslems will go to hell and that’s 100% certainty!

Surat Maryam 19:68-71

68 By your Lord ˹O Prophet˺! We will surely gather them along with the devils, and then set them around Hell on their knees.

69 Then We will certainly begin by dragging out of every group the ones most defiant to the Most Compassionate.

70 And We truly know best who is most deserving of burning in it.

71 There is none of you who will not pass over it. ˹This is˺ a decree your Lord must fulfil.

Knowing that we would never be good enough to earn Salvation on our own, there is only one thing left for us to do, trust on what the Son of God did for us on the cross at Calvary, trust on the blood atonement and the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23-24 King James Version

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

God in His bountiful grace, love and mercy that He gave His only Son to save us from the eternal damnation of hell.

John 3:16 King James Version

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus Christ became sin for us so that we can be righteous in the sight of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 King James Version

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Jesus Christ paid the wages of our sins so we can be given eternal life

Romans 6:23 King James Version

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Sin can be equated to debt and our legal obligation to pay it on our own is death, but when we put our Faith on Jesus Christ Alone, our debts will be forgiven

Colossians 2:14 King James Version

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”

Jesus did it all! Therefore, all we have left is our faith in what God does. This is why the Bible says we are justified by faith (Romans 5:1) apart from the works of the law (Romans 3:28).

So, faith alone in Christ alone is the only way to be saved because that is the only way to put complete and total trust in the work of God and not in our ability to be good enough to achieve or maintain our salvation.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 King James Version

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
